Bonding - Terms and Services
General:

These terms and conditions apply specifically to bonding services offered by Happily Ever Rabbit.

All animals will receive a general health check by Happily Ever Rabbit staff upon arrival. Any health concerns will be brought to your attention.

All rabbits must have been neutered, at minimum 6 to 8 weeks prior to being bonded.

All rabbits must be current on their vaccinations.

We recommend Guinea Pigs be neutered but do not require it.

You are responsible for informing Happily Ever Rabbit of any special needs or medications your animal requires.

We will provide your animal with a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with access to fresh hay, water, pellets and after bond has become stable a litter boxes.

We believe and follow the technique of animal lead bonding via the 24/7 method, this entails placing the animals in a neutral space and observing them closely. Because the bonding is animal lead, we cannot guarantee successful bonding; however, Happily Ever Rabbit will make every effort to maximize the chances of a positive outcome.

Rabbit bonding can take anywhere from 5-7 days, but may require longer depending on the rabbits' personalities. We charge a flat fee for bonds that take up to 7 days, regardless if they require the full 7 days. Bonds that exceed 7 days will be charged at the boarding rate for the number of animals listed on our booking portal.

Guinea pig bonding can take anywhere from 3-4 days, but may require longer depending on the guinea pigs' personalities. We charge a flat fee for bonds that take up to 4 days, regardless if they require the full 4 days. Bonds that exceed 4 days will be charged at the boarding rate for the number of animals listed on our booking portal.

If bonding is unsuccessful, Happily Every Rabbit will contact you to discuss your options, including finding a suitable companion for your animal elsewhere. If the bond is deemed unsafe or unhealthy within the first 24 hours, Happily Every Rabbit may at our discretion refund up to 50% of your booking fee.
Bonding Process:

We use a 24/7 bonding approach, introducing animals in a neutral space and closely monitoring their interactions.

Playdates are not used in our bonding process.

We reserve the right to adjust the bonding timeframe or separate animals if necessary for their safety and well-being.

You will receive regular updates on your animals' progress throughout the bonding process.

All efforts are made to minimise the chance of injuries but if your animals sustains any injuries during bonding, Happily Ever Rabbit will immediately contact you and advise on potential treatment options.
Costs:

Bonding services are priced higher than boarding due to the intensive time, focus, and resources required.

Bonding fees cover food, hay, pellets, litter, and basic care supplies.

Additional charges may apply for specialized medications or veterinary care authorized by you.

A £50 non-refundable deposit for rabbits is required upon drop-off or in advance.

A £25 non-refundable deposit for guinea pigs is required upon drop-off or in advance.

Remaining balance is due upon pick-up.

Liability:

Happily Ever Rabbit will not be held liable for unforeseen events, illnesses, or death occurring during your animal's stay.

We will do our utmost to ensure your animal's health and safety, but cannot guarantee against accidents, medical emergencies, or death.

Happily Ever Rabbit will make ever effort to contact you in the event of an medical emergency but if you are unavailable, Happily Ever Rabbit reserves the right to seek and authorize up to your pre-approved veterinary spend limit. You are responsible for any veterinary costs associated with illnesses or injuries occurring during your animal's stay.

We reserve the right to refuse boarding services if we believe it is not in the best interest of the rabbit.
